OnePlus is going to organise a launch event tomorrow. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has posted a teaser image on its Google+ account. However, the image does not reveal anything on the products it will unveil on Dec. 17. The teaser ad published by OnePlus reads "Go Further," along with tomorrow's date in the format "12.17.2014" and four blue coloured dots. Many may come to think that the company may be planning to launch theOnePlus One Mini, which popped up very recently. However, GSMArena claims that the mini version of OnePlus flagship is probably a Chinese knockoff.
According to GSMArena, OnePlus may not be launching a smartphone tomorrow but it may unravel a new accessory. It states that the four blue dots on the image are very similar to the LEDs that are present on external power banks, which indicate the remaining battery life. In this case, the four dots may indicate a fully charged battery power bank, states GSMArena.
The text written on the posted image indicates that there are 10,000 reasons for being excited about tomorrow's unveil event. GSMArena says that it is probably hinting to the fact that OnePlus will be launching an external battery pack with backup capacity of 10,000 mAh.
On the other side, 9to5Google claims that OnePlus will be launching not one but two devices tomorrow. It expects that one of them would be an updated edition of OnePlus One handset featuring a newer Snapdragon 805 processor. The other product could be a wearable device enabled with heartbeat monitoring feature.
Android Community also states that OnePlus will launch two products on Dec. 17 and one of them is health-and-fitness-related device. There are some speculations from other sources like Android Community that the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the OnePlus One Mini, which surfaced in China recently along with leaked photos.
